凡格爾迪酒店 (Hotel Van Gelder)

I arrived at like midnight but luckily there’s someone at the reception 24/7. The hotel is at an excellent location, it was ok to push my suitcase over from Amsterdam central station, I think it took 10minutes yet I was shocked to see the very steep staircase because I had a 26” 22kgs big suitcase with me, along with a 7 kgs hand card travel bag, 6kgs backpack. There’s absolute no way I’d be able to carry all that up stairs without tumbling down and getting injured before I could reach the reception desk. Thankfully, the male staff who work at the front desk were all nice and willing to help, ie 1st time for bringing all my baggage from the bottom of the steps at the entrance up to my room during which we encountered even more steep stairs to reach the room; 2nd time was when I had to check out, I left my suitcase outside the room and needed staff to help me bring it down to the reception storage; 3rd time was from reception down to the bottom at the entrance, otherwise I would not have able to stay at the hotel with all my bulky and heavy baggages. It’s an old hotel so soundproofing maybe a bit of a problem, like I could hear floor boards creaking but it’s bearable and I had a good sleep. I had bit of a hard time finding my room, it felt like a maze in a boat or an anthill, but staff showed me the way to my room. The view outside the window was wonderful, Van Gogh museum and rijksmuseum were within walking distances like under 40 minutes. It’d be even if they provided a water kettle, but I was happy that they actually have tv and air con! I’d stay here again, just that I better not bring a big suitcase next time. Thank you to the 3 staff I encountered on October 10th and 11th!

직원들이 칝러하였으며, 체크아웃을 하고도 짐을 편하게 맡겼습니다. 기차역 인근에 위치하여 대중교통 이용이 편리했으며, 번화가라 편의시설이 많아서 편리했습니다. 그러나, 엘리베이터가 없어 3층까지 캐리어를 힘들게 끌고 올라갔으며, 계단이 가팔라 아주 위험했습니다. 남자친구가 없다면 숙소를 예약하면 안됩니다.

樓梯非常陡峭，特別是25號以後的房間。對於女士出行或者有大行李非常不推薦。如果可能，要求小於25號的房間，並且不要窗戶朝向後面那條街的房間因為夜裡有小混混在後麪那條街，非常吵

Amazing :) room view (10) was WoW and the location of hotel is perfect 5 minutes from the station in the Center besid  Dam  the old man in the reception was so polite and helpful really the only problem is the stairs no left but the staff were kind and hospitable

Este hotel tiene una ubicación increíble. Caminando a 5 minutos de la estación central, a un par de calle del centro y los canales. Totalmente céntrico. Las instalaciones están limpias y cómodas, inclusive tenía su propia aire acondicionado en la habitación. Lo único que calificaría como incómodo son sus escaleras. Llegamos a recepción pensando que serían las únicas escaleras para subir nuestras maletas, solo para darnos cuenta que faltaban otros 2 sets de escaleras, y hablamos de escaleras completamente estrechas 😭, fue una tortura subir el equipaje, pero si vienes con equipaje pequeño, este es tu sitio.

房間比較核心位置，是阿姆的老房子，像彩色那種，樓下商業特別發達，但是安全環境也值得注意，建議天黑就不要出門啦

沒有樓梯，非常陡峭狹窄，沒有電梯，帶大箱子還手提上樓非常酸爽，沿街交通方便，樓下是酒吧和***，熱鬧安全但很吵，睡眠淺的人要留意。大概就是招待所級別，馬桶水箱一直漏水響一晚上，算乾淨，但性價比極低，已經付了一千出頭，不如加一點錢升級一下好點的酒店。

Good hotel ,nice people, location is good, bed is comfortable, nearby train station

Excellent location, close to Central Station, many shops and restaurants around the hotel. Steep stairs but manageable, recommended for light travellers. We booked the New renovated room, nice design and spacious for two people. Nice staffs, but need to leave the room key every time when you leave the hotel…but the room cleaning need to be improved…found that stains/dirts are on the toilet seat/ dusts on the bedding/ no refilling of the tea bags…overall it is a nice stay in Amsterdam

Fantastic location for sightseeing, but need to climb stairs to the apartment, Just like Anne Frank house. :)
