這是一個家庭旅館，位置在會安古城的西北邊的村子裏，門口是一個小衚衕，房間後面是荒地半夜有狗叫。房間的入戶門就是這樣的玻璃門，沒有隔音效果。陽台其實就是在房間門口擺放了小桌子和椅子，是公共走廊不是陽台。
