湖畔酒店 (Hotel Lakeside Pvt. Ltd.)

There’s a lot of things that were disappointing. Firstly the hotel doesn’t have the lift, meaning you have to carry your own luggage, it is a family owned hotel and you can see very less professionalism, no attires. There was tea bags but no boiler, I talked to the person in the reception and she said she will give me one but didn’t provide any. Room had tv but no connection when asked they said they will sent someone shortly but no one came and when asked after over an hour there was one lady who said everything comes on the mobile phone nowadays and she didn’t want to attend the complaint and simply walked away which was so rude. They are located very faraway from the lakeside which contradicts the name of the of the hotel. The hotels windows are of no use as there is no view. The only thing you can see when opening the window is the walls almost touching the windows. Again, There was a telephone in the room but there was no connection. As per the notice attached on the door of the room breakfast is to be served by 7 am but the lady at the reception said it starts at 8 and because we had to catch our connecting in the morning we asked if she could do it bit earlier which she agreed but in the morning when we came down for the breakfast there was nothing prepared and it was already 7.30. We asked if she could prepare something that we can take away but she was once more rude and didn’t gave us anything and asked us to wait despite letting her know that we just have half and hour to catch the connection. We had to leave the hotel without breakfast even when we paid for the breakfast. It was full of disappointment ☹️ I have attached some pictures fyi

The hotel was very unclean. We didn't get much response in the 永安 platform chat box regarding our early arrival and had to wait a long time outside just to get inside the hotel. Room makeup wasn't done on the second day and was done after multiple requests and reminders on the third day. The staff were nice and friendly whenever any requests were placed but the whole hotel lacked professional and basic routine services.

酒店位置離湖邊稍遠（1.5公里），但是離去加德滿都的車站非常近（1公里）。房間乾淨，衞生間寬大。早餐不錯，量很足，很方便。洗澡的熱水很燙（在早上）。前台服務態度也很好。總體不錯。

ネパールのホテルの中では清潔な方でした。滯在する部屋は受付に申し出れば低層階か高層階か選べます。今回は高層階にしましたが眺めが良かったです。湖は見えませんが。 湖までは徒歩で5分くらいです。 トイレットペーパーや石鹸などのアメニティはほとんどついてません。また、お茶のTパックがありましたが、ポットがなく飲めませんでした。

함께 간 분들이 실망했어요. 전기, 화장실이 마음에 들지 않았어요.

Best place to stay

The hotel is one kilometre away from the Tourist bus stop. It's also around 15 minutes away from the lake if you go on foot. The location is pretty convenient. The room ia well-equipped and has a table, two chairs, a TV set, a kettle, an AC, bottled water, and tea. It also has hot (not just warm) water, which was my first time to see in Nepal 😅 I had a nice breakfast, even prepacked one on the day I was leaving too early to have it in. The main drawback for me was roosters waking each other up starting from 3 am somewhere nearby. Other than that, great indeed.
