金馬倫高原熏製房酒店 (The Smokehouse Hotel & Restaurant Cameron Highlands)

Website stated ‘polished’ (service). This was not across the board. The worst was the unfriendly receptionist called Teo, who has no customer service. Smokehouse is in desperate need of a deep clean and maintenance. Chipped bath tub, chipped restarant tables, Dirty rugs, cushions, upholstery and an unsightly sun roof over the restaurant, are signs of neglect. The Glenlee suite’s shower head was broken. We lodged a complaint before leaving for a day’s sightseeing. We returned to discover nothing was done and staff at the reception, who included Teo, had no recall of our complaint. Pillow casss smelt stale and awful. We brought it to Teo and asked her to smell it. She just stared at the pillows, refused to remove her face mask to smell the pillow cases until we insisted for the umpteenth tkme. Unbelievable. It is far from polished. The rooms facing the road, are very noisy throughout the night and day. Do not book these. We do not recommend stays at the Smokehouse. But do go for meals because the waiters are good and the food is pretty decent.

No complaint about the hotel, excellent ! However, the traffic jam this area is so heavy.

Management is ultra unfriendly gone the old smoke House hospitality the comon staff are nice but all inexperience they listen to the Management keep apologise and I am a repeat customer stay more then 12 occasion for the last 20 year I come back here because of memory better go stay elsewhere

好像進入了異鄉小國一樣 雖然房裡沒有冷氣與風扇但是晚上還是涼颼颼的 早餐非常推薦 早餐是可以自行選擇主食的 現煮而不是自助餐那種哦～ 夜景景色也很優美 適合放鬆心情度假了

We spend one night as family staycation in this hotel which remind me, my university holiday 永安 staying in B&B in UK many years ago, it is first time experienced for my wife and 2 kids how's the old British house look like. Nice restaurant set-up and foods :-) The room furniture is a bit run down and hope the hotel operator may consider to upgrade & change. I will come back again to stay in this hotel. Thank you.

Overall, quite good for business or leisure 永安. Looking forward to come again. 3rd time being here, and has tested variety of room types.
